Nelson Hardiman attorneys Rob Fuller and Rosa A. Shirley closed on a $30 million Bridge to HUD 242 loan despite unique issues. First, we worked closely with the client to fend off a mountain of old bad debt and redo UCC filings. Even more trying was closing the transaction when the primary collateral was located in the middle of the recent Napa Valley fire area. Additionally, the County Recorder’s office had been vacated by the fire causing title to filing gap issues. Despite the challenges, Nelson Hardiman was pleased to close the loan on behalf of our healthcare provider client.
