Harry Nelson presented at the NARR Best Practices Summit on October 16, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. In the video he discusses urine drug testing and notes that overbilling for new procedures and treatments is nothing knew to the healthcare industry. Harry states that the same issues arose years ago with imaging, MRI’s, CT scans, and power wheelchairs. This short clip evidences the emphasis Nelson Hardiman puts on understanding history. As Carl Sagan famously stated, “You have to know the past to understand the present.” At Nelson Hardiman knowing the past is part of our culture. We even created a multimedia timeline that shows the historical cross-section of healthcare and the law.
